Installing AutoCAD 2024 (3)

Please follow these steps extremely carefully to install AutoCAD 2024:


IMPORTANT NOTE: Each of the scripts have different required versions of powershell and will prompt accordingly.


  1. WHEN NECESSARY: Restore to a known, good AMI
  2. Uninstall AutoCAD Ursa Release Candidate
  3. Run the Uninstall Scripts in an elevated Windows PowerShell (in the attached ZIP file):
    1. RemoveAlpha.ps1
    2. RemoveBeta.ps1
  4. Reboot the server
  5. Install Autodesk 2024 software from the Deployment on the F: drive or the install creator (Attached to this email)
  6. From an elevated command prompt run the PostInstall.bat file (in the attached ZIP file)
  7. Reboot the server
  8. Important: If you restored from an AMI in step 1, be sure to check everyone's email on that server, especially Paul's
