Outlook Fails to Open

There are times where Outlook will fail to open, this can be caused by several issues.


  • If there is a warning message saying that the cache is out of date, then do the following:
    • Download the Clear Outlook Cache.bat
    • Run the file
  • If there are no error warnings, then do the following:
    1. Download the Close Hidden Outlook.bat
    2. Run the file
    3. Try Again
    4. If Outlook opens, your problem should be solved, if not, continue on:
      1. Download Outlook Safe Mode.bat
      2. Run the file
      3. If Outlook still does not open, contact support@breeneng.com If Outlook does open, then it means that there is an incompatible icon and you need to use the following steps to determine which one is causing problems:
        1. Disable Outlook Addins one at a time by following the in the PDF Disable Outlook Addins.pdf
