How to Fix HP Smartstream or HP Click 'Missing Font' issue

Below is the sample of error you'll get when you upload or drop PDFs in HP Smartstream or HP Click (installed on US server)

This error occurs when you input or use special characters within CAD.
See below image for the PDF that was opened using Bluebeam. No issues occur.
(Notice the line where there is 'degree' symbol used)

but when you open it in HP Click or HP Smartstream, it will convert the whole line that has 'degree' symbol (as used) into dots. See image below.

The quick and simple way to have this fixed is to follow the steps below:

1. When plotting within CAD, use 'Publish Dialog box'

2. Set Publish to : PDF
3. Select Sheet Set Publish Options.. a dialog box will appear

4. Assign location, leave 'Multi-sheet file' unchecked if you need single sheets plotted only.

5. Check the 'Convert all text to geometry'.

6. Click OK, then publish.

This will fix the missing font issue when you open it in HP Smartstream or HP Click.
