Fix missing characters in PDFs

Sometimes there are characters that are missing or represented as boxes in PDFs when the Arial font is used, when this happens, you need to do the following:

1. Open the PDF in Bluebeam
2. Click on the Document tab in the Ribbon
3. Click on the Process Icon
4. Select Reduce File Size
5. Move the slider on the dialog box all the way to the left towards quality
6. Click OK
7. Select a new location or filename for the new file
8. The new file should open automatically and the font issue should be fixed.
