Cannot Double Click DWG file to Open AutoCAD 2018

For some users, double clicking on a DWG file will not open the file in AutoCAD 2018. Please use the following steps to fix this:

  1. Close AutoCAD
  2. Download the attached file
  3. Double click on the attached file OR click Open from the web browser OR Right click the file and select Open
  4. Log Off from the Remote Desktop by Clicking Start->Click on your Picture (or icon) and select Log Off
  5. Log back into the remote desktop


NOTE: It is extremely important that you completely log off and back on, otherwise AutoCAD may have some performance issues.
