Terminating IT personel

To do task for firing IT
Depends on what level of access of the IT Personnel

Use this guidelines of whatever the IT's access level for cloud, systems and network


1. Cloud

If the IT personnel became EC2-FULL-ACCESS and IAM FULL ACCESS,


  • IAM Role
    • Disable IAM role accounts and make access key ID INACTIVE (do not remove, you may need to use enable it later or other services is using the access keys).
    •  Recreate all Secret keys for users but proceed with precautions for Access keys for Cloudberry backup, Sumologic, Breen Attach large files and other critical services.
    • Reset AWS Root User password and secret keys with extreme precautions.
    • Change IAM user passwords for all users
    • Make sure every IAM Users or Roles
    • Double check if there is extra IAM users, group and roles to make sure there is no IT backdoor.
    • IAM Policies attach to EC2 Roles and S3 buckets should be double check backreading JSON script is a MUST

  • S3
    • Cloudberry Drive should be updated for its S3 access
  • EC2
    • Change Public IP addresses of Core Servers ( Server0, License server, Deltek and etc.)
    • Change Public IP addresses of Production Servers




2.) Windows server

  • Reset password for all account/s (If the IT has systems admin and has onenote access to the passwords)
  • Disable account


3.) Office 365

  • Reset password
  • Logout of all devices
  • Disable login
  • Remove license
  • If necessary, configure email forwarding to designated IT
