Setup Roaming Profiles

To setup Roaming Profiles, do the following:

• Create a folder then Share to everyone in full Control
• Under security owner should be the Administrators Group

Get the share path of the folder

Roaming profile path : \\SERVER0\Profiles\%username%

To set the roaming profile

1. Go to Users and Computers
2. Go to the user and right click the user
3. Go to profile in the tab then paste the roaming profile path

Problems with Roaming Profiles

1. Not syncing and Roaming profile is not working
   • Sometimes is the sharing path is different or the security of the folder of the profile should only have the system has full control and the User has fullcontrol also remove some groups or users if there is any the User should have also the ownership of the folder do this if roaming profiles is not working 
     • Solution:
       1. Go to my computer
       2. Right Click Properties
       3. Advanced System Settings
       4. Advanced
       5. User Profiles
       6. Delete any profile that has error in the roaming profile then ask the owner of the profile to relog and that will fix the problem.
